Sudanese champions Al Hilal Omdurman have confirmed the signing of Nigerian forward Akire Temple Taiwo. The youngster has committed to a four-year contract with the club.

Taiwo, regarded as one of Nigeria’s brightest emerging prospects, joins the Sudanese side from Nationwide League club Gbagada FC. His performances last season earned him the TCC League’s Best Player award in January, alongside 15 direct goal contributions for the Lagos-based team.

Technical director Florent Ibengé praised the signing, stressing that Taiwo’s potential would add quality to the squad as Al Hilal look to reinforce ahead of the new campaign.
